L201 is a phosphorus-copper binary brazing filler metal with close to eutectic composition. It has a low melting point and good fluidity. It can flow into brazing joints with small gaps. The price of brazing filler metal is cheap, so it is widely used. However, brazing joints have poor plasticity, it can not be used when joints that are in shock and vibration working conditions.
Uses: widely used for brazing copper and copper alloys in motors, meters and refrigeration industries etc.
